Old University Library in Fiolstræde in Copenhagen and Medical Science + Certified Healthcare Assistant

As a child, I loved to check out books, much earlier than I could read them.

My favourite was the Anatomy and WWI. As in the old style WWI book, they also showed injured soldiers... so it was similar for me...

I come from a family where both of my parents are medical doctors, and my uncle and auntie are as well.

I also finished as a Certified Healthcare Assistant in the last decade :D

So today I visited the Old University Library in Fiolstræde in Copenhagen to find some cool skull photos for one of my posts here in this blog.

You need to be aware, it is called Old, but nothing like in old times... they do not have accessible catalogs, not like in Amsterdam in the Archives... nope... they do not tell you where to find what, and no catalogs are publicly accessible...

Nah, it was easy for me to find the Medical department, it is on the top floor and on the right. My book was nearly next to the candle shop... I could see it from the window.. The book I was looking for was on the top shelf, so you need an extra ladder or extra courage to stand on the top of the ladder, as they are short...

Finally, I managed to find the German version of the book. The medical book from 1927.

Pictures are taken by me.

As a child, I had millions of chances to see a lot of old-style X-ray pictures. As my father brought home the work...

Why is it occult?
Nowadays, it is an open library with limited information...
There are many more female scientists as well..
